Tin Drum is a fusion Asian restaurant that carries dishes with Chinese, Thai, Cantonese and Vietnamese influences. Menu items include spring rolls, coconut soup, chop chop salad and the signature "Drumroll," a grilled Asian flatbread wrap. Tin Drum carries noodles, curry, stir fry and fried rice combinations with shrimp, chicken, beef or pork. Its Thai Iced Tea is a popular beverage, and in warm weather the outdoor patio is packed. Inside, the decor is modern and hip, with a streetscape mural meant to look like an outdoor cafe in Asia. There are six metro locations of the Tin Drum and this one anchors a corner suite across from AMC Theatre inside The Avenue Forsyth.
