Palomilla’s Cuban Grill House is as traditionally Cuban as you can get. At Palomilla’s, Cuban cuisine is not mixed with Mexican, Peruvian or Spanish cuisine, as many Latin restaurants attempt to do. The owner of Palomilla’s, Elizardo Sanz, believes there is no need to mix cuisines as the Cuban cuisine, having originated as a merging of Spanish, African and Caribbean cuisines, has its own distinct mix of flavors, spices, marinades and sauces. Palomilla’s Cuban menu consists broadly of five main categories: traditional pork dishes, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian. Whole red snapper, not offered by most restaurants, is offered at Palomilla’s. Succulent and marinated pulled pork and shredded beef are also favorite dishes. A variety of rice and bean menu items are provided as vegetarian options.
