Cypress Lounge is one of the best-kept secrets of downtown Cedar Falls. It's a local favorite for drinks and a nice atmosphere. The lounge caters to a blue-collar crowd in the afternoon and evening, and then after about 9pm the college crowd moves in. Cypress serves draft beer in frosty mugs and has pool tables, dartboards, a jukebox and games. There's a good-sized outdoor deck patio with seating and a nice view of the park.
Pool is free to play on Mondays. Happy hour is Monday through Friday, 3pm to 6pm.
