Jessee's Embers was established in 1963. We are a local family owned Steak and Seafood restaurant that has been serving Des Moines throughout the past generations. Owned and operated by Thom Ruan, Marty Scarpino and Deena Edelstein, Jesse's strives to be Des Moines's best Steakhouse.Starting as a bartender 20 years ago, Marty has recently taken over ownership of the business in late 2007 with partners Thom and Deena. We are unlike most restaurants, the owners are in attendance almost every day greeting customers, cleaning tables and making sure that you have the best experience possible.
