Louie D's Authentic Philly Steaks is a locally owned sandwich restaurant specializing in that Philadelphian guilty pleasure, the cheesesteak. When owner Louis Dean "The Dean of Cuisine" came to West Des Moines from Philly he thought to spread the brotherly love when he opened his restaurant last year. Louie D's offers delivery to offices, and also to homes in most of West Des Moines and Clive on weekends. Besides cheesesteaks, his menu includes hoagies, salads, fries, mozarella sticks and his specialty, the Philly eggroll.
