The Abbey Espresso Bar & Café The Abbey Espresso Bar and Café is West Belleville's most comfortable hot spot. A backdrop of weekly card games, chess matches and Saturday morning music complements the best cup of joe east of the Mississippi. Some go so far as to say our coffee is the best east of the Rockies, but we suspect there may be a few barristas at higher altitudes and out-of-the-way places that to date remain unexplored. Homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches are served daily along with a plethora of pastries and bread.
