Other Details:
El Llano, named for the Region of Colombian where Jorge Gacharna grew up, and Brasa Roja, a reference to cooking meat, are cozy restaurants with loads of charm. With the sights and sounds of Colombian sculptures, maps of Colombian, and Colombian music playing overhead, El Llano and Brasa Roja create a festive and upbeat atmosphere for dining. And once you’re in the mood, the meat selection does the rest. Prepared fresh every morning and bathed in the Garchano’s seven signature sauces, the meats are fully flavored by the time you order. Too grand for traditional plates, El Llano serves its generous portions of chicken, steak, pork and catfish on a wooden cutting board. Some favorites include short ribs, brisket, rabbit, lamb, and red snapper, but the charcoal chicken rules the roost in these restaurants.
