Claire's is widely regarded as the best Jamaican food in Evanston. In the Chicago area, she has a few other restaurants of her type to contend with, and she holds her own against them quite nicely as well. Jamaican ex-pats rave about her jerk chicken.
The staff are friendly and laid back, as one might expect from a Jamaican place. The space is very small and BYOB.
