For more than 30 years, a chunk of Glen Ellyn's candy supply has nestled itself inside of a charming red and white cottage-style shop on Crescent. The Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe carries all manner of candy to satiate any sweet tooth, including a rainbow palette of Jelly Belly jelly beans, sour gummy worms and crunchy candy bears. Most of the bin candy runs $5.95 per pound--and can be collected in small plastic bags and little baskets--though there are also individual boxes of Wonka Spree and Gobstopper candies. A giant gum ball machine invites kids to try and win 5 bucks by nabbing a specially stamped gum ball. And a small fridge sells all kinds of cool, sweet drinks to go along with all of that candy.
