Located just blocks away from downtown, Tates has been La Grange's neighborhood ice cream shop since 1988. What sets this shop apart from the rest is that it makes its own homemade ice cream right on the premises. Unique flavors such as Irish Mocha Chip, New York Cherry and Frandango Mint may be hard to find anywhere else. In previous years, the business was only seasonal, but now will open its doors year-round.
