Emerson Creek Pottery is off the beaten track, but intrepid shoppers with an appetite for one-of-a-kind pottery and excellent food will be glad they undertook the adventure. All of the pottery is formed, fired and painted in Bedford, Va. Because no stencils are used by the artists, each piece is painted to create a unique work of art, whether you select dinnerware, coffee and tea mugs, bakeware, serving dishes, bathroom accessories or something else. The Emerson Creek tearoom uses fresh ingredients to prepare each meal on its varied and delicious menu. The soups, salad dressings, sandwich fillings, and desserts are made in-house, from scratch.
