Hackney's opened during prohibition when the Hackney family began selling food and alcohol from its back porch. Known for fabulous burgers and onion rings, Hackney's has been around ever since.  This location has several dining rooms to accommodate large groups and private banquets.  Hackney's also has a full bar with several beers on tap and a bar staff who can whip up nearly any cocktail.  Daily lunch specials are available from 11am - 3pm.

This family owned and operated establishment supports local school districts and participates in the Taste of Palos, contributing directly to its organizers, the Palos Park Women's Club.  Hackney's hosts local jazz bands on Wednesday nights.
