A replica of Boston's 18th century Old North Church is home to Olde North Pancake House. The Old North Church, historical landmark of America, still stands in Boston today. It was built in 1723. Signal lanterns made famous by Longfellow's poem "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" were hung in the bellfry of the tower. The Old North steeple stands as a reminder of our heritage in the struggle for liberty & freedom! The Olde North Pancake House was built in the fall of 1963, with constant growth of the Western Suburbs, the founding officers had a vision of a destination of fine food in an early American setting. Olde North Pancake House changed owners a couple of times before a Business Woman from Wheaton (Alma Horan) purchased the restaurant in 1973. Since then, we are celebrating 40 years a s a leader in the food service industry!
