Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream™ was established in Carmel, Indiana in May, 2003. We had been thinking of a concept for a family restaurant with an emphasis on quality food and a fun atmosphere for several years. When we found the right location along the Monon Trail, we knew it was meant to be! With a lot of family guidance and moral support, Bub’s™ was born! “Bub” is a family nickname for Matt and his brother-in-law Chuck who was a guiding factor in the motivation for us to create our concept. The name ended up fitting perfect with the Big Ugly Burger™ theme and what was a family nickname has now caught on with employees and regular customers. “Bub” can usually be found visiting tables most days of the week! As the name states, burgers are our specialty. Our burgers are made from fresh, handpattied ground chuck and our buns are custom made to fit our burgers and baked fresh daily at a local bakery. We can’t emphasize quality, value and service enough. All of our burgers are after cooked weight giving the customer the most value possible. We offer a simple menu but we make sure all ingredients, products and service levels are the best we can create.
