Tom Thompson began his career practicing law with a Trial Law firm in Lafayette, Indiana, where he gained valuable trial and appellate experience representing the rights of consumers and of the accused. Mr. Thompson returned to his hometown of Connersville in 1994 and has practiced in that area since that time. He has continued to represent the rights of consumers and of the accused at both the trial and appellate levels. He has handled over 40 appeals before the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court. He has achieved reversals of six-figure judgments in the civil context and obtained reversals of convictions in criminal cases as high as class A felonies. Mr. Thompson served as City Attorney for the City of Connersville from 2000-2003. He continues to serve as Attorney for Union County, Connersville Utilities and the Connersville Department of Storm Water Management. In addition to his trial and appellate law experience, Mr. Thompson represents families in their corporate and business needs, as well as their estate planning.
