We wanted friendly service, from people who would remember your name and what you like to drink. The sort of restaurant where everyone jumps in and helps each other, warmly welcoming you. The kind of place where folks have a great time, with the sounds of laughter and conversation in the background.We wanted a clean, modern environment, not loaded with dust-collecting ‘memorabilia.’ Jazz and standards playing softly in the background. And we wanted to be able to eat how we wanted, sometimes a burger for dinner and other times a steak for lunch.
