Corky Girodo moved to Louisville from Birmingham, Alabama, to open Sister Bean's Coffeehouse with his sister Teresa Gailor of Brooks, Kentucky. The two started Sister Bean's on Manslick Road at Gagel Avenue across from Iroquois Park and opened their doors on November 29th, 2005.In September of 2010 they relocated to a new location on New Cut Road across from Iroquois Park Amphitheater
