We travel the globe to hand-select only the finest coffee beans - from Sumatra to Ethiopia, from Colombia to Kenya - everywhere the best coffee grows. Plucked be hand at the peak ripeness, the fruits of the Coffea Aribica bush are transported to mills where the beans are expertly removed, dried and hand-sorted before shipping to our artesian roasters.The "PJ" in our name stands for Phyllis Jordan, our founder who opened her fist coffee house over two decades ago. She's oneof the pioneers of gourmet coffee - her idea: to create unique coffee blends and roast the beans in small batchs - the same way we do it today in our roasting facility not far from Bourbon Street.
