When Johnny s Pizza House first opened in 1967 in Monroe, La., the owner jokingly called his tiny restaurant the only link in the world's smallest pizza chain. Johnny s has since grown to become the largest locally owned pizza chain in northern Louisiana. With pizza varieties such as Cajun, meat plus, Maui wowie, veggie and bacon cheeseburger, the chain has consistently been ranked Northern Louisiana s favorite pizza. Johnny s also sells take-and-bake pizzas. Johnny s Pizza operates nearly 30 restaurants including five in Monroe and six in Shreveport, La. The corporate office is located at 100 Arkansas Street in Monroe.
