Carlins Tavern has been serving local patrons and travelers from afar since the end of prohibition in 1933. We are located in the heart of downtown Ayer, just 100 feet from the MBTA Fitchburg / South Acton line, just one mile from Fort Devens, an instrumental WWII base, Carlins Ayer has been welcoming our friends and family back home for decades. The Local town bar, known as the "cheers" of Ayer, where regulars are like family and new faces are always welcome! We have a small yet accommodating staff, and customer service is our top priority.
