Located on Tremont Street across from the the BCA, Mela is the first Indian restaurant in the South End.  Featuring a wide range of modern Indian cuisine, Mela also features an extensive lunch buffet with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.  On weekends, Mela offers a brunch buffet featuring a dosa station, fresh juices and an ever-changing array of entrees.  Mela is also one of the few restaurants to offer its patrons hot stone cooking, in which they serve meat and seafood platters right on a tray with a hot-oiled stone slab.
