The Fisher Hill Reservoir is an historic public park. The reservoir was taken out of service in 1978, declared surplus land in 2001 and reclaimed as public land a decade later. Today, it is a public park with a soccer field, great lawn, natural wooded areas, walking paths and a renovated gatehouse, which was built in 1887 and designed by Arthur Vinal. The park is an environmentally protected area meant to be used as a resource by all residents.
