In the heart of Everett Square the Eight/Ten Bar and Grille is a small, restaurant built on a dream. Richard Sasso, originally from Everett, MA, has combined his grandmother and mother’s family Italian recipes with his personal passion for treating his guests as if they were eating at his home. All marinara, mushroom and turkey gravies are made from the same family recipe’s with the care and love that created them more than 50 years ago in southern Italy. The result is a small, warm and friendly place where you can experience fresh peeled and sliced Eggplant Parmesan, Mussels Siciliano, Sausage and Penne ala Vodka, Lobster Ravioli not to mention 13” thin crust pizza with homemade tomato sauce and toppings like shrimp scampi; prosciutto Di Parma, roasted red peppers and fresh mozzarella cheese. Comfort foods are a favorite with dishes like homemade meatloaf and a complete turkey dinner. Portions are so generous that most customers have enough to take home for seconds.
