Marblehead native Susan Brewer opened the Marblehead Cafe & Chower Company in 2007. With a lifelong love of food and travel, she says, "This is just something I've always wanted to do." The menu reflects those sentiments with an amazing variety of options, each a wonder in its own right. There are sumptuous soups and chowders made fresh on the premises, low-cal dinner options and a healthy turkey chili that doesn't cut corners on taste. And, for vegetarians, there's always something available, such as edamame hummus.

Its mission is to create and produce delicious food and original chowders and soups using the freshest, most natural and wholesome ingredients. Beautiful art from local artists is often on display, as well.
