Over a century ago, Leonardo, my great grandfather, came to America from Italy. He, along with his six sons, opened Turo's Market on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, MA. The success of Turo's market turned into a new venture for the family. In 1962, Leo's Ristorante was founded by my father Leo, my brother Fran and the rest of our family. Leo's opened just across the street from Turo's market. In 1986, Leo's moved to Brackett Court where the family tradition is still carrying on.
