A Salem presence since 2003, Boston Hot Dog Company has introduced a twist to an American staple, having originated the Taco and the Thai Dog, as well as the Southern Slaw – a hot dog made with coleslaw and chili. The décor is as eclectic as the hot dog menu. Skeletons guard candy dispensers and history lines the walls in the form of sports paraphernalia and old photographs. Cozy, bar-style seating looks out to the street and over the ingredients. In addition to making hot dogs, Boston Hot Dog Company also sells branded shirts and caps.
