Cafe Valverde Coffee Roasters has been providing artisan-roasted small-batch Bolivian organic coffee since 2004, and they've been serving Salem since 2010. Owners Nelson and Eleni Valverde buy their coffee beans directly from farmers in Bolivia and other coffee-producing countries, and they ensure the coffee beans are certified Fair Trade. The Salem shop fresh roasts its coffee every day, offering a variety of hot, iced, and expresso drinks. Among the most popular are the Maya Spiced Mocha and Chai Latte. Cafe Valverde also sells croissants, quiches, tea breads, wraps, Taza chocolate, loose-leaf teas and more.  Free Wi-Fi and outdoor seating are also available.
