Cafe Jag's, tucked behind the Wakefield commuter rail station on Tuttle Street, is open for breakfast and brunch on the weekends and dinner during the week. The menu offers a variety of seafood appetizers and entrees as well as Italian and American style chicken, veal and steak. Dine between 4 and 7 p.m. on weeknights to order from the discounted "early bird special" menu. The dining room gives the feel of a trendy, upscale restaurant in downtown Boston with chic hardwood floors, black wood tables and soft lighting. Cafe Jag's can also host private events for up to 60 people.
