Originally founded in 1959 by Richard H. Lerch and Joseph I. Huesman, Huesman, Jones and Miles, LLC operated for almost 40 years under the name of Lerch and Huesman. For many years, the firm was located in downtown Baltimore at the corner of Redwood and Calvert Streets. R. Douglas Jones joined the firm in 1976, followed by Gerard F. Miles in 1982. In 1988, the firm relocated to Towson, Maryland. When Richard Lerch retired from the practice in 1996 the name of the firm changed from Lerch and Huesman to Huesman, Jones and Miles. The firm remained in Towson until 2004 when it relocated to Hunt Valley, Maryland. In 2008, the firm moved back to Towson where it remains under the name of Huesman, Jones and Miles, LLC.
