This family-owned takeout joint is well-known for its pit beef sandwiches and barbecue chicken and pork. Other menu items include hamburgers and cheeseburgers, Italian and smoked sausage, fish fillets, chili and a variety of appetizers. Expressway serves homemade sides including coleslaw, collard greens and mashed potatoes. It is primarily a take-out restaurant, but there are tables with umbrellas out front.
