Cava offers Greek-inspired cuisine and wines that embrace the mezze dining style, which features small plates of food -- similar to tapas, but slightly larger -- that are shared. 

The menu offers braised beef, lamb and seafood dishes. Individual dishes are vegetarian, Kokkinisto/braised beef, mussels, papardelle pasta, spicy lamb sliders, lamb shank, caponata, and Avgolemono chicken and orzo soup.

The wine list focuses on Greek varietals. It also has 50 wines from local growers and other states throughout North and South America, and Europe.

A second Cava is located in Washington, D.C., on Capitol Hill. A third restaurant is planned for Clarendon.
