A charming Old World cafe in the heart of Rockville, the Lola Argentino Bistro Cafe and Bakery is a rare gem--a locally owned coffeehouse that does both quality espresso and uniquely delicious food exactly right. Owner Emilio Borro (assisted by pastry chef Marcella) has a clear passion for authentic Argentine cuisine and exceptional European espresso, as well as a commitment to "providing fresh, good food everyday, at the right price--all custom cooked to order."  He recommends trying their Argentine BBQ, T-Bone Steak, or one of the Daily Specials (which include Monday's Corn Stew, Mondongo Tripe Stew on Saturday or Asado with chorizo and morcilla on Sunday).  Other popular dishes include the Carne Empanadas and Buenos Aires Chicken Salad (topped with roasted red peppers, regianito cheese and chimichurri sauce).

A dozen flavors of homemade gelato and sorbeto (try the Virginia Peanut Butter Menta Granizado or Grapefruit Campari), homemade soups, smoothies, Latino pastries and birthday cakes baked to order also await you at Lola's.
