Zagat-rated Mamma Lucia's has been a staple on the Rockville Pike for almost 20 years, and it continues to serve up delicious traditional Italian cuisine. Its pizzas, voted by Bethesda Magazine as the "Best Traditional Pizza in 2009," are hand-made with all fresh (no frozen) ingredients. There is a wide menu beyond pizza, though, including signature pasta dishes like the Seafood Risotto and Chicken a la Francese. Mondays are "Pasta Night" and Tuesdays are "Pizza Night," with great specials on a selection of entrees. Outdoor seating is available, as is catering for large and small events.
