Bill Bateman is very active in the preparation of all menu items at Bill Bateman s Bistro. Bateman personally approves everything that goes on the menu. The sauces the restaurant uses are made from scratch, nothing frozen or prepackaged. It uses only fresh ground beef for burgers. The soups and chili sold at the bistro are homemade. Bill's famous Original and BBQ Sauces are currently sold in national retail supermarkets. In 1987, Bateman opened his first restaurant in Baltimore County, Md. Bateman opened his Bistro Restaurant in Towson, Md., in 1995. Since then, Bill Bateman s Bistro has expanded its concept to Reisterstown, Severna Park, Parkville, Md., as well as Hanover, Pa.
