Vereinigung Erzgebirge has several soccer teams assocaited with its club. It has separate teams for both male and female players.  Teams are grouped by age ranges including Mighty Mites, youth teams (ages 7 - 17), and senior players (age 18 and over).  The U-17 Men's team typically travels on a Eurpoean tour. Other teams travel throughout the area.

Vereinigung Erzgebirge's home fields are located on its property known as the Waldesrauchen (in English "Whispering Woods"). A long, evergreen tree-lined driveway separates the entrance of the club property from the parking lot, soccer fields and clubhouse.

In addition to soccer teams, Vereinigung Erzgebirge is a German club whose facilities include a pool and banquet hall. It frequently schedules social events and includes activities groups for singing and German language school.
