Opening in 1973, Timber Ridge Apartments/Ridge Residences had as its goal to provide a safe, enjoyable and reasonably priced housing solution for the elderly. This began in 1967, when  seven local churches came together to form the Westminster Church  homes Foundation. The Timber Ridge Apartments offer 84 one-bedroom apartments, eight two-bedroom apartments and eight efficiency apartments. The Ridge Residences offer 60 one-bedroom apartments and 19 efficiency apartments. All residents can enjoy a  variety of events like bingo, crafts, movies, Bible study, exercise classes, a lending library, social gatherings and holiday get-togethers.
