This is the Birmingham franchise of Great Harvest Bread Company, a neighborhood bakery specializing in whole grain breads, specialty breads, sweets, gift baskets and catering. It is operated by the Yancey Family. Breads are made from scratch from stone ground flour, which is milled daily, and the bakery does not use preservatives. Breads generally stay fresh from seven to 10 days. The bakery makes gluten-free cookies and cupcakes by request, too.
