Hazel's Home Cookin' serves traditional family dishes for lunch and dinner on weekdays from a tiny beige building in downtown Dexter. Inside, owner Denise Livingston and five family staffers cook up recipes from Livingston's mother, Hazel, after whom the restaurant was named. Two dishes are served each day, which are posted on the door and website. Popular dishes include beef pot roast, chicken pot pie, turkey dinner and barbecue chicken. Desserts include homemade cookies and pies. Seating indoors is limited to a table and chairs; outside, several tables and picnic tables are available. Delivery is available from 5pm - 7pm.
