The name of the restaurant is telling of what you should order when you get there: the beef. Hand-carved roast beef, to be specific. The meat is tender and flavorful, and complements the many homemade side dishes and steamed vegetables. The menu changes daily, but includes entrees like baked scrod filet, sirloin tips and Swedish meatballs. Service here is cafeteria-style, so you go through a line and choose whatever fare you fancy, add it to your tray and pay for everything up front.
