In1960, John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids, Mich. - where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. After noticing how successful their father was, 19-year-old Tommy Brann was the first opened Tommy Brann s Steakhouse in Wyoming, Mich.
