Elan Candies by Maralyn was started when a Floridian friend discovered that she could not reproduce her toffee recipe in the humid and hot climate. Maralyn made some of the candy which combines pecans and English toffee for her friends and gave them as gifts during the holidays. The response was so overwhelming, Maralyn opened up a store.
