The Detroit News voted Salvatore Scallopini Italian Ristorante the Best Italian Restaurant in the 2005 Michigan s Best competition. Established in 1982, the restaurant serves traditional Italian fare, such as homemade ravioli, gnocchi, lasagna, cannelloni, chicken cacciatore and veal parmesan.
