John F. Kennedy Airport JFK one of New York City’s three large area airports. JFK Airport is situated approximately 12 miles to the southeast of Manhattan. Currently, it is the 6th busiest airport in the United State and the 17th busiest in the world. It is the airport that handles the most international traffic in North America.
