In 2009, Leo's was voted the #1 Coney Island hot dog by local news station WDIV. And in fact, founder Leo Stassinopoulos did work in a Coney Island eatery in the late 1960s. The first Leo's served Coney Island basic like hot dog, fries, burgers and Greek salads. Today, the menu features a variety of items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to Coney Island dogs, Leo's serves Greek specialties, burgers, soups and sandwiches. The restaurant is bright, and open with flatscreen televisions and large murals on the walls. It is located in the plaza near Vince and Joe's at the corner of Van Dyke and 25 Mile Road.
