It all started in 1981 when the Smith family opened the original That'sa Pizza in a former summer cottage along busy US31 in Acme. For 19 years several owners came and went but the original recipes stayed the same.In 2000, locals Ben and Tracy Coe purchased the struggling business as an opportunity to do what they love best, working with food and people. As the business grew, so did the opportunity for expansion and in 2007 our Hammond Road store was added along with partners, Joe and Dana Suttle. Finally in 2008, our third and largest location opened on Traverse City's West Side offering beer and wine along with a children's play area.
