In the beginning two women, who wanted to start a business, began a "cottage industry", in the basement of a home (thus, the name). Business grew because we put ourselves and our product out in the public eye as much as possible, all civic events, art and craft shows, charitable events. Anything that would let prospective customers see and taste our wares. Eventually, people needed to be able to come to us, so we moved to our first "above ground" location. That was over 20 years ago. Because of our commitment to quality and our business, we continue to bake for you, our customer, the most incredible products you will ever taste. Really!
