Our coffee is master roasted in small batches by a local roaster from Brooklyn Center, MN, known as Roastery 7. We choose this roaster not only for their 40 + years of combined experience in artisan coffees, but also for our shared beliefs in the coffee buying industry. We believe that the farmers who share our values of quality, environmental stewardship & dignified treatment of others, should be paid premium price for their beans. This approach is referred to as "terroir" which means sourcing beans from unique Micro-climates in the world's prized coffee growing regions. These are coffees that embody a singular "flavor of place." Purchasing coffees in this manner also supports practicing intimate stewardship of land, plants & wildlife.
