Inter Savings Bank first opened its doors in 1965 as a small community bank called Falls Federal Savings and Loan Association in International Falls, Minn. The business grew over the next 30 years to include branches in Florida. In the early 1990s, a group of investors led by Ron Fletcher, a veteran of the mortgage industry, purchased the company.
