Bittersweet Café is located in the nostalgic Archer House in historic downtown Northfield. Under the ownership of the Archer House, Bittersweet Café features certified-organic and Fair Trade gourmet coffee and espresso, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh bakery items, a wide variety of teas, homemade soups, delicious sandwiches and salads, all made fresh daily. The house specialty is the Cranberry Cosmo Wrap.  

Bittersweet's meeting room, overlooking the Cannon River, accommodates business meetings, showers and other small groups. The eatery also offers catering and cake decorating.
