A large, crowded parking lot on a weekday lunch hour attests to the fact that Dangerfield's is one of the most popular restaurants in the Shakopee area. One area newspaper rated Dangerfield's as one of the top 12 restaurants in the Twin Cities metro area. The locally-owned restaurant, which opened in 1991, has a recently remodeled dining room which overlooks the Minnesota River on the east end of downtown Shakopee. For weddings, reunions, company gatherings or other special events, Dangerfield's has six "special occasion" rooms which can each accomodate between 20 and 150 guests.
